SilentLine and Drumarkon introduce the all-new Drumarkon System Floor (DSF). The DSF is a height-adjustable grid system used to level floors aboard luxury yachts and commercial vessels.
In 2023, Promat, SilentLine, and Drumarkon joined forces with the goal of developing an innovative subfloor for the maritime sector. They have now successfully achieved this – proudly presenting the Drumarkon System Floor. The DSF is an all-in-one, easy-to-install subfloor system that provides a flat surface for the final flooring installation.
The Concept
Based on the yacht’s accommodation layout provided by the client, SilentLine and Drumarkon together design a floor concept. The concept is based on a height-adjustable, easy-to-install grid that creates a 600 x 600 mm or 600 x 300 mm gridwork. The height can be adjusted using various support feet. The DSF comes in two variants – steel and aluminum.
Construction
The DSF creates a flat surface for the final floor covering. On top of the DSF, an elastomer (BISCO) is placed to isolate structural noise, along with a sound-reducing sandwich panel (DrumAcoustic) or, if required, a B-15 aluminum floor plate (DrumaFloor NC/SR).
Because the DSF is height-adjustable, we guarantee that the final floor is 100% flat and stable.
Proven Success
Several ships in Asia are already equipped with the Drumarkon System Floor. In South America, an aluminum gridwork is currently being installed on a 42-meter-long cruise yacht. Requests have also come in from the Netherlands; at the moment, a complete gridwork is being installed on a 55-meter private yacht.
