Drumarkon has been a dedicated supplier of end products and semi-finished products in ship and interior construction for companies that are active in new construction and refit projects for more than 30 years. The legal requirements for fire prevention, noise reduction and weight reduction increase every year. Drumarkon has specialized in these fields and has a wide range of certified products. With this we offer you guarantees for the manufactured end products. For custom-made products, our experienced team of professionals is happy to help you in finding a creative and suitable solution.
Wide range of products
In addition to our “ready-to-use” systems that are easy to install, for the finishing touch you can choose from a wide range of HPL decors. These consist of the entire collections of renowned brands such as Resopal, Polyrey and Formica. Other brands are available on request. In addition to “ready-made” systems and sheet material, we also supply the required matching profiles.

Our history
In 1984 Jaap van Drunen was a representative at a timber trade.There he saw opportunities in the market for ship interior construction.
1985
This year Jaap establishes Drumarkon in Werkendam as a wholesaler in wood and sheet material. The abbreviation stands for “Drunen Marine Konstrukties”. Jaap saw opportunities in coated plate material with HPL, the first adhesive line was purchased and Drumarkon has been a renowned adhesive company ever since.

1993
Drumarkon moves within Werkendam to the Velsenstraat to further grow as a company. This was the starting shot for the specialization in the postforming process.
1993
1999
Bert de Jonge takes over Drumarkon and invests in product development. This creates a series of IMO certified products developed by Drumarkon. In cooperation with HPL suppliers Drumarkon starts the “Drumarkon Marine Range” an HPL house style collection IMO certified and always in stock in 2440x1220x0.7mm.

A new collaboration with transport company Burggraaf as the house transporter for Drumarkon.

2017
Johan van Tilburg becomes the new owner together with investment company Neope Capital Management. Together they want to take Drumarkon to the next level.

The production location and routing of the company are further optimized. Substantial investments are being made in new machinery.

Drumarkon extends its partnership with Promat for worldwide distribution in the maritime sector.

2020
Drumarkon becomes a recognized training company since this year. Partly because of this, Drumarkon can count on the next generation of professionals.

A new website is launched and the corporate identity is given a make-over.
